As the Harts & Pearls team reflects over the last five years in business we know the real reason for our success…
OUR AMAZING CUSTOMERS!
We wanted to carve out this moment in time to say thank you to everyone who has ever placed an order with us. We appreciate every single purchase and recognize that every order you make is spent with your hard earned dollars. We love you all and strive to make our products with high quality, on-trend materials to ensure you’re getting the most for your money.
Last Friday, while I sat at my desk I meticulously packed orders that needed to be shipped. I wanted to make sure they were dropped off at the Post Office before it closed. I was running out of time. As I packed, I saw a few familiar names from repeat customers. It made me smile thinking about how wonderful it is that these H&P guys and gals continue to re-order our accessories. As I continued to print shipping labels and package orders I wondered…
Why do people order from Harts & Pearls?
At that moment, I had to find the answer. I logged into our database and began my search. I scrolled through our customer base and reached out to a few new customers and some repeat customers. (All the while still packing your orders). Here’s what they had to say…
Delanah. Hairstylist. Seattle, Washington.
Delanah met our founder, Desiree, at a local event in 2014 and after buying a few head-wraps for her daughter, Essie, and herself she was hooked. “I love supporting small businesses and it’s been encouraging to watch Harts & Pearls grow more each year. I always look forward to the next season to see what H&P will produce.” Delanah is often spotted in H&P while at work in her hair salon which she operates out of a vintage Airstream trailer. Chrissie. Rancher. Bozeman, Montana.
On a break from bottle feeding her sweet little calves, Chrissie ran across our feed on Instagram. “I love your head-wraps and turbans! The prints are so fun and unique to accessorize with. They are also very practical and are great to wear around the ranch or running errands! They fit great and don't move around like other headbands.”

Patti. Stay-at-home Mama. Rochester, Washington.
Patti fell in love with our accessories after visiting the H&P booth at the Grays Harbor County Fair in 2013. “I love that a single mommy came up with the idea and kept at it to make H&P a successful company. That is inspiring! I also think it's very important to buy local, love that this company is so close to me.”

Lauren. Pharmacy Manager. Indianapolis, Indiana.
Lauren placed her first order with H&P last month through a Harts & Pearls Facebook live party her friend was hosting. “I love finding fun new trends to make my simple wardrobe standout. More than the styles, I am inspired by the H&P story. I have big dreams about leaving my career to open my own shop or boutique so I can inspire people by making them feel beautiful. I keep following Harts & Pearls and supporting the brand hoping it will inspire me to have the courage to take the leap myself.”

Joe. Plumber. Roy, Washington.
H&P is not just for the ladies. Joe, owner of Pierce County Plumbing, has ordered from us numerous times for himself and his daughter. Here's why...
"I heard about H&P through friends that bought stuff and were really happy with the product but being a guy what I was most impressed with was the Harts & Pearls story. I got to hear a little bit about the owner and was so impressed with what she has done that I wanted to be a part of it, if only as a customer."

Kia. Eyelash Guru. Tacoma, Washington.
Last summer, as she browsed through the Tacoma Farmers Market Kia stumbled upon the Harts & Pearls booth. Kia decided to pick up a few head-wraps for her customers at Lush Lashes because “our clients would love the quality and I love the price point and especially how cute everything is.” Kia has since placed several orders and always keeps an eye out for H&P at local farmers markets.

Coralee. Stay-at-home Mom. Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada
Coralee recently ordered off our website for a gift for her friend who is a major Seattle Seahawks fan. “I love that your company gives busy women a quick and easy way to make themselves feel beautiful. The head-wraps can be dressed up or down which is really nice. I was very impressed with the quality of the product from my first order and even more impressed by the customer service. Will definitely order again in the future.”

A big thank you to Delanah, Chrissie, Patti, Lauren, Joe, Kia and Coralee for your kind words and continued support. After hearing all your positive feedback, I left work feeling thankful and content. I made it to the Post Office just before closing and watched as my arm-full of orders were shipped off to H&P lovers across the globe.
