Harts & Pearls owner, Desiree Burgess, grew up in Grays Harbor, WA. Upon graduating from Aberdeen High she studied Fashion Merchandising and Design at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA. In 2003, she continued her education at San Diego Christian College, where she received her BA in Business Administration. 

At the birth of her daughter, Hartley in 2011, a passion arose and her two educations came together. To follow her dreams of being SUCCESSFUL, CREATIVE and a stay at home mom she started Harts & Pearls.

Harts & Pearls is a custom and handmade fashion forward accessory line for the modern woman, child, and baby. Desiree' loves working one on one with clients to create the perfect accessory for their special day and their every day.
